Supported Living Arrangement and Day Habilitation Programs

Care Services of Nevada, Inc., provides Supported Living Arrangement (SLA) residential support and Day Habilitation for individuals with developmental disabilities. These programs are supported by the Aging and Disability Services Division of the Nevada Department of Health and Human Services. Our services maximize and individual's ability to participate fully as a member of the community. Our clients receive services as specified in their Individual Support Plan (ISP), which may include comprehensive Case Management and Direct Support Services focused on teaching individuals to increase their personal skills and abilities. Our goal is to assist individuals in learning basic living skills so that they may grow to live more independent lives. Examples of these skills may include cooking, cleaning, grocery shopping, money management, budgeting, health and fitness, communication, job skills, socialization and recreation. Care Services of Nevada, Inc., also teaches individuals safety skills as well as how to respond to emergencies.
